MEET THE SPRITES
Spriteworks doesn't treat every AI task as the same job.
The factory is divided between workers with different responsibilities. The current crew consists of Scout, Brain, Critic and Degen.
▸ SCOUT
DEMOScout goes outside the immediate prompt and looks for information. Scout's job is discovery.
When live research is enabled, Scout is intended to search available information sources, collect useful evidence, discard obvious noise and package findings for the next Sprite.
- ■finding sources
- ■discovering projects
- ■researching companies
- ■investigating tokens
- ■collecting recent information
- ■finding competitors
- ■locating supporting evidence
- ■identifying useful signals
Scout is the primary Sprite behind HUNT.
Scout also supports BATTLE and ROAST when those machines need external information.
▸ BRAIN
DEMOBrain receives information produced by other Sprites and turns it into something useful.
Brain is responsible for reasoning across findings, organizing information and producing the final structured result.
- ■synthesis
- ■comparison
- ■summarization
- ■ranking evidence by relevance
- ■identifying patterns
- ■organizing findings
- ■turning raw research into readable output
Brain commonly acts as the final stage of a workflow.
▸ CRITIC
DEMOCritic tries to break things.
Ideas, claims, products and conclusions entering the Testing Chamber are examined for weaknesses.
- ■bad assumptions
- ■weak differentiation
- ■contradictions
- ■execution problems
- ■missing evidence
- ■unclear positioning
- ■obvious risks
- ■unsupported claims
Critic is the primary Sprite behind ROAST.
Critic also participates in BATTLE to challenge weak conclusions before Brain produces the final comparison.
▸ DEGEN
DEMODegen takes something that already exists and pushes it somewhere else. The goal is divergence.
Instead of producing three lightly rewritten versions of the same idea, Degen should alter mechanisms, incentives, audiences, interfaces, business models or underlying assumptions.
- ■idea mutation
- ■unusual product directions
- ■mechanism changes
- ■new business models
- ■creative combinations
- ■alternate audiences
- ■strange experiments
- ■unexpected variations
Degen is the primary Sprite behind MUTATE.
▸ Sprite handoffs
Some jobs require more than one Sprite.
The long-term goal is for these handoffs to correspond to actual stages of AI work rather than being purely visual animations.
