THE ORBIO CORE
▸ What is the Orbio Core?
At the center of the Spriteworks Factory is the Orbio Core.
The Core is the visual representation of the AI capacity available to the factory.
Every job requires computation. Research requires tools. Analysis requires models. Future Spriteworks jobs can route these capabilities through Orbio.
Instead of hiding that resource behind invisible API calls, Spriteworks represents it as part of the world.
▸ Current status
SIMULATEDThe current prototype uses a simulated compute balance.
Running experiments can visually decrease that balance, but the displayed amount does not yet represent live Orbio consumption.
This allows Spriteworks to test the product experience before connecting production infrastructure.
▸ Where this is going
PLANNEDAs the integration becomes live, Spriteworks can use Orbio as a common gateway for supported AI models and tools.
The goal is for the factory animation to reflect actual work happening behind the interface.
▸ Compute flow
PLANNEDEventually:
This creates a connection between the visible factory and the infrastructure powering it.
▸ Orbio CREDIT
Within Orbio, CREDIT represents AI usage capacity.
According to Orbio's current protocol design, one CREDIT represents $1 of AI usage through the Orbio Gateway.
CREDIT can be activated into spendable AI balance. Once activated, that balance can be consumed by supported models and tools.
Spriteworks intends to represent this type of AI capacity through the Orbio Core.
▸ Spriteworks + Orbio launchpad
PLANNEDSpriteworks may use Orbio's launchpad infrastructure as the project develops.
Under Orbio's current launchpad design, a project can launch a token paired with ORBIO.
Creator fees generated by project-token activity can contribute toward the project's AI capacity.
Current Orbio documentation describes creator fees being divided between ORBIO stake, spendable gateway balance and the launchpad treasury.
This mechanism depends on actual activity and current Orbio launch terms.
Spriteworks never presents token activity as guaranteed revenue, guaranteed compute or guaranteed returns.
▸ Why this fits Spriteworks
Spriteworks makes AI work visible. Orbio provides infrastructure that can make AI capacity measurable. Connecting the two allows the factory's central resource to become meaningful.
The Core can eventually represent:
- ■available AI balance
- ■AI usage
- ■job cost
- ■factory activity
- ■compute consumed over time
▸ Security
Orbio credentials must never be exposed in the browser. Spriteworks should route requests through secure server-side infrastructure.
